King Hamad holds talks with the Qatari emir

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Qatari Amir HH Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held here today official talks, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister. During the talks, attended by the two countries' delegations, HM the King welcomed the Qatari Amir, and lauded the outstanding solid historical relations bonding the two nations and their brotherly peoples. HM King Hamad affirmed the two countries' common desire to consolidate their relations, and broaden the horizons of joint fruitful cooperation in order to achieve the aspirations of their peoples, within the GCC framework. He wished brotherly Qatar and its people further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of HH Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. HM the King and HH Shaikh Tamim reviewed ways of bolstering bilateral cooperation in various fields. They also discussed the latest regional and global developments of joint interest.
