Khalifa, Mohammed greet Mursi

The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has sent a cable of greetings to Egypt’s president-elect Dr Mohammed Mursi on his victory in the presidential elections. Shaikh Khalifa said: “It gives me pleasure to greet you on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of the UAE on your win in the presidential elections. On this occasion, we in the UAE look forward to seeing the sisterly Egyptian Arab Republic achieve further progress and development under your presidency. We wish you and the fraternal people of Egypt security, peace and prosperity under your wise leadership.” His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, sent a similar cable to Dr Mursi in which he expressed his best wishes for the welfare and prosperity of the people of Egypt. General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also sent a cable of greetings to Dr Mursi.from khaleej times.
