Member of Parliament Kassem Hashem said on Saturday that the parliamentary vacuum is even more dangerous than that of the presidential one.
The lawmaker said," Vacuum in the presidential post is as that in the parliament, dangerous; however, the parliamentary vacuum is more dangerous."
Hashem told "Free Lebanon" radio station that national pact and national interest are twins, pointing out that "parliament Speaker Nabih Berri is the one who has always supported national pact."
The MP said that the President of the Republic has the right to use all his constitutional authorities, indicating that resorting to parliament dissolution is limited to certain situations and it needs a cabinet's decision.
Hashem added, "The current situation does not allow dissolving the parliament."
