Iraq to open borders to Syrian refugees

Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has told Iraq's border officials to allow Syrian refugees into the county, a senior border commander said. 'It is our duty to protect citizens...we have to open our doors to our Syrian brothers, and I'm very optimistic that the situation is moving in the right direction,' a media report quoted the Iraqi Premier as saying.
