Interior Ministry: Short circuit behind police car explosion

The sound of an explosion was heard in the Moustafa Kamel Corridor area in the Fifth Settlement after a police car went on fire earlier Tuesday.
A short circuit caused the fire, which extended to the artillery left inside the vehicle and led to the explosion, said the Interior Ministry's media center official.
All legal measures have been taken and the prosecution will start a probe, the official added.
