Interior Minister : Nation, people's security is red line can not be crossed

Interior Minister Madgy Abdel Ghaffar held on Sunday a meeting with a number of his assistants and security commanders to review the security situation and the latest domestic developments.

During the meeting, he asserted that the security and stability of the nation and people is a red line that cannot be crossed.

The minister added that the forces will strictly deal with any security violations or threats to vital and police facilities.

"I am confident of citizen's awareness not to be misled by chaos and insecurity calls," the minister further said.

The nation entrusted police with the responsibility of preserving security and stability, the minister said, adding that policemen are exhorting efforts and sacrificing their souls to maintain the nation and people's security.
