Huge turnout flock to Maadi, Haram polling stations

A huge turnout lined early Tuesday outside polling stations in Cairo's Maadi district and Giza's Haram district. Despite cold weather, a large number of elderly people flocked to the Maadi polling stations in the morning, while some youths held Egyptian flags and pictures of Defense Minister Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi at the polling stations. There are 27 polling stations in Maadi. In Haram, families massed at Haram polling stations amid tight security measures, causing traffic jam.
