HH the Emir Issues Laws
Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani on Tuesday issued Law No. 5 of 2017 on the regulation of dealing in subsidized commodities.
HH the Emir also issued Law No. 6 of 2017, amending some provisions of Law No. 7 of 1987 on the rules of practicing commercial activity by GCC citizens in the State of Qatar.
In addition, HH the Emir issued Law No. 7 of 2017 on allowing Gulf companies in GCC states to open branches in the country.
The laws are effective and are to be published in the official gazette.
