Istanbul - Anadolu

Syrian Islamic Liberation Front's Liwa al-Islam Brigade Commander Zahran al-Lush stated on Monday that Hezbollah failed its aims in Syria, saying "Hezbollah militants got rocked on their first field fight with Syrian opposition forces in Qusayr." Commenting on the recent incidents in the Syrian civil war, Commander Al-Lush told AA in an exclusive interview that the last Hezbollah attack mounted on Qusayr failed and "Hezbollah got rocked on their first field fight with Syrian opposition forces in Qusayr." Commander Al-Lush claimed that Israel attack on an ammunition dump aimed to block opposition forces from gaining advantage over the Assad regime. "If Israel hadn't attacked the ammunition, we would have got hold of several anti aircrafts. The anti aircrafts would mean a knockout to Assad regime. That's why Tel Aviv mounted the attack on Syria," he noted. Stressing that Hezbollah forces failed their aims in Qusayr, Al-Lush said "Hezbollah militants got rocked on their first field fight with Syrian opposition forces in Qusayr. They saw that our soldiers are not like the Israeli soldiers scared of death. They had an unpredictable loss of their forces." Al-Lush noted, highlighting they not only fight against Assad forces, "Russia and Iran are themselves intervening in our country. I captured several Revolutionary Guards and Hezbollah militants in Damascus with big knives prepared for massacre. These militants also sharpshoot the trespassing civilians." Syrian Islamic Liberation Front was founded in September 2012 under the leadership of Ahmed Abu Issa, the leader of the Suqour al-Sham Brigade. The coalition includes around 20 Islamist groups with fighters active throughoutSyria. The Front aims to maintain brotherly relations with the Free Syrian Army while refusing to give full support to the FSA leaders remain in Turkey. The umbrella group includes rebel units active in the civil war, including the Suqour al-Sham Brigade (Idlib), Farouq Brigade (Homs), Liwa al-Islam (Damascus) and Tawhid Brigade (Aleppo). Among the other prominent groups in the coalition are the Deir ez-Zor Revolutionary Council (Deir ez-Zor), Tajamo Ansar al-Islam (Damascus), Amr Ibn al-Aas Brigade (Aleppo), and al-Naser Salaheddin Brigade (Latakia).
