Health Ministry: 2,110 ambulances, 2 jets to secure Christmas celebrations

The Health Ministry has outlined a comprehensive plan to secure Christmas celebrations.
The plan went into effect as of Thursday, the Ministry said in a statement Monday, adding that 2,110 ambulances have been deployed around parks and churches to offer immediate medical services when and if needed.
Ten ambulance boats and two helicopters will also be on call, the Ministry added.
General and central hospitals have been placed on high alert also as part of the plan, the statement said.
