Member of Parliament Boutros Harb explained on Wednesday that his participation in the parliamentary legislative session scheduled tomorrow (Thursday) is to speak his mind.
Harb told "Voice of Lebanon" radio station," I will take part in the session because I refuse to be a partner in bringing down the country and the political regime," adding " If the current status quo continues, there's no hope to agree on an electoral law."
Harb noted that they, as deputies and political forces, haven't participated in the ongoing discussions over the electoral law, giving room to the authority forces to agree on a law and carry out the elections on its due time."
The MP noted since that hasn't been accomplished, " we are in front of two choices, either the Foundation conference or saving the country," urging the cabinet to shoulder its responsibilities.
Harb hoped the president of the Republic would take the initiative and gather all the political forces to save the country.
