Hamas urges to reopen Rafah Crossing

Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri urged Egyptian authorities to reopen the Rafah crossing between the Gaza Strip and Egypt, after it was closed earlier on Friday. The Rafah crossing's closure has caused harm to the Palestinian commuters stranded on both sides of the crossing, he added. He, meanwhile, said that any internal Egyptian problems should be addressed away from harming the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. Egyptian policemen blocked the crossing into the Gaza Strip on Friday to protest against the kidnapping of seven Egyptian security men in the Sinai.
