General strike in Palestine

Cities and towns of the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948 today witnessed a comprehensive general strike in protest against the Israeli occupation authorities for destroying 11 houses of Palestinians in Qalansawe under the pretext of building without a permit.
The strike came in response to a move by the Arab Higher Monitoring Committee, who called in a statement for Palestinians to unite to protest the actions of the Israeli government.
