Geagea heaps praise on Mikati's resignation

Lebanese Forces Leader, Samir Geagea, highly praised on Friday Prime Minister Najib Mikati's decision to resign, calling on Lebanese President, Michel Sleiman, to set a session devoted for parliamentary consultations to name a new Prime Minister. Lebanon's Prime Minister Najib Mikati has announced the resignation of his cabinet, citing divisions on several issues, and called for the formation of a national unity government to rescue Lebanon. "Amid the prevailing circumstances, I can't but value the courageous step of outgoing Prime Minister Najib Mikati, especially that this resignation had been sparked by some ministers' refusal to extend the mandate of Rifi.
