Riyadh - BNA

GCC Secretary-General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani today strongly condemned the terror attack which targeted the Yemeni Defence Ministry in Sana'a, leaving dozens dead and injured. In a statement today, Dr. Al-Zayani described the twin blasts as a heinous and cowardly crime which contravenes all religious and humanitarian values. "Terrorists have perpetrated this abominable crime in an attempt to destabilize Yemen, subvert its security and derail the political process", he said, expressing his confidence that terrorists would not escape unpunished. Dr. Al-Zayani voiced the GCC member states' stance condemning the terror twin bombings, reiterating firm support for all the measures taken by the Yemeni authorities to maintain their country's security and stability.
