
Free Syrian Army (FSA) brought down an MIG warplane in the Dama region of Idlib in Syria, FSA Press Coordinator Luey Mikdad claimed. "FSA troops brought down an MIG-21 jet fighter aircraft in the Dama region of Idlib. Witnesses reported that the two pilots aboard escaped by jumping out by parachutes. We started search operations in the area in order to locate the wreckage," Mikdad told AA on Monday. Syrian Local Coordination Committee (LCC) also claimed that a warplane bombing residential areas was brought down.
