The Yemeni government is keen on supporting human rights in the country, Yemen's Foreign Minister Abdel Malek el Mekhlafi said on Thursday.
Speaking to the Yemeni news agency, Mekhlafi denounced continued detention, kidnapping and recruitment of children by Houthi militias.
He further urged a national panel to continue probing violations of human rights committed by Houthi militants and supporters of former president Ali Abdullah Saleh.
Two draft resolutions have been submitted to a Geneva-hosted human rights conference to put an end to the suffering of the Yemeni people, he noted.
