Member of the Revolutionary Council of Fatah Movement Demitry Deliani said the provocative march by Jewish settlers in Al Quds City on Sunday proved that the holy city is occupied and not the capital of the occupation state.
In a statement released on Monday, Deliani explained that no country in the world would need to turn its capital into a military barricade to carry out the so-called the celebration of occupation of the holy city of Al Quds during the 1967 Israeli offensive on the Palestinian territories.
Deliani also denounced the repressive measures carried out by the Israeli occupation forces against Al Quds residents before and after the march.
On Sunday evening, groups of Jewish settlers organized a march in the holy city during which shops and houses' doors were closed in the old City of Al Quds and a curfew was imposed on the Palestinian residents.
