
The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, on Tuesday, distributed new batches of food aid to 250 families at Zaghfa Area in Ash Shahar Directorate, Hadramaut Governorate, Yemen.
The gesture is a continuation to the UAE's humanitarian and relief role in Yemen in order to alleviate burden on the Yemeni families due to the fragile economic conditions.
The population expressed their appreciation and thanks to the UAE's leadership, people and ERC for the aid which alleviate their daily lives suffering.
Abdullah Al Musafri, Head of the ERC team in Hadramaut, said that the distribution of relief assistance was in line with meeting the needs of the populations and bringing life to normalcy as result of the dire economic conditions as well as alleviate their suffering at all service and humanitarian domains.
