Emergency meeting of Arab FMs began in Cairo

Extraordinary Meeting of the Arab League Council at the level of the Arab foreign ministers began here today under the chairmanship of Libyan foreign minister Mohammed Abdulaziz and the presence of the Secretary General of the Arab League Dr. Nabil Al-Arabi. Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, led the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation to the meeting. The meeting will discuss the Syrian conflict and the Geneva ll peace conference in addition to the efforts exerted by U.N. Arab League envoy Lakhdar Brahimi.
