Electricity minister receives university officials

Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received Kingdom University President Dr. Yousef Abdulghaffar and Vice President for Academic Affairs and Scientific Research, Dr. Nader Al Bastaki.
The Minister was briefed on the preparations for a symposium on sustainable buildings and renewable energy to be held in cooperation with the International Renewable Energy Network on April 15 and 16 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, under the patronage of the minister.
The event will include a series of workshops and lectures by university teachers from Italy, Romania, Iraq and Malaysia.
The workshops will discuss the latest developments and research in the field of renewable energy and the design of sustainable green buildings.
The minister praised the efforts in organizing the event and expressed his support for holding it under his patronage. He pledged all possible assistance for it to achieve its objectives.
Executive Director of the Sustainable Energy Unit Jehan Al Murbati was present.
