Egypt's mufti: Wednesday marks 1st day of Eidul Fitr

Wednesday will mark the first day of Eidul Fitr (Lesser Bairam), said Egypt's Mufti Shawki Allam.
"Tuesday is the last day of the holy fasting month of Ramadan and Wednesday is the first day of Eidul Fitr," the mufti said in a statement.
He greeted President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the Egyptian people and the Arab and Islamic nations on the occasion.
