
Gunmen attacked a bus carry Egyptian soldiers from the central security and the military battalion at el-Arish on Wednesday, killing an Egyptian soldier and injuring seven others, security sources said. Security sources said armed groups seek to take revenge and respond to the Apache attack which targeted the Jihadists groups on Tuesday. They identified the wounded as Yahya Mohammad Abu al-Soud, 22, al-Sayid Hassan al-Sayid, 23, who was shot in the abdomen and in the chest, Issam Ibrahim Shaban, 22, who was shot in the right shoulder, Mustafa Mseri Mohammad, 22, who was shot in the left leg, and Issam al-Sayid Hassanin, 22, who was also shot in the left leg. Wahid al-Sayied Wahi, 28, was killed in the attack. Gunmen also attacked a military battalion in al-Salam suburb neighborhood, injuring two soldiers. The soldiers were identified as Abed al-Ghani Mohammad, 21, who was shot in the right arm, and Abed al-Rahman Jamal Ibrahim, 21, who was shot in the right arm. Both were transferred to el-Arish military hospital.
