
Egyptian Prime Minister Hazem Beblawi received on Tuesday Kuwait Ambassador to Egypt Dr. Rasheed Hamad Al-Hamad on the occasion of ending the ambassador's six-year tenure. Al-Hamad told KUNA that the meeting highlighted the strong ties between the two countries in all fields. The ambassador praised the spirit of cooperation he felt from all Egyptian officials during his work, including the warm sentiments and understanding between the two nations on all levels. Al-Hamad expressed hope and wishes that Egypt reached the security and stability needed to regain its leading role in all fields and in the region. Earlier, a press statement by the Egyptian government quoted the ambassador's as he conveyed during the meeting Kuwait's support to Egypt in such critical and historic time. The ambassador also mentioned similar confirmation made by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah during the Arab Foreign Ministers meeting last Sunday.
