Egypt is strongly supporting Libya, United Nations envoy to Libya Martin Kobler said on Twitter Wednesday.
Kobler termed as "positive" his recent meeting with Egypt's permanent envoy to the UN Amr Abul Ata.
Earlier in the day, Kobler stressed that all Libyan political and security powers should sit at the negotiating table to reach solutions to the Libyan crisis.
In an interview with the Sky News Arabia on Wednesday, he said the UN is ready to offer proposals on settling the Libyan crisis if Libyans requested.
He added that the UN, the Arab League and the African Union are holding contacts to follow up the Libyan crisis and discuss means of resolving it.
He underlined the importance of maintaining Libya's unity and having a unified Libyan army to fight against Daesh.
