Egypt rejects military solution to crisis in Syria

Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmi said his country rejects any military solution to the crisis in Syria, affirming that the political solution is the only way out of the crisis in the country. "We support the political solution, not the military one… it is best to reach a resolution through Geneva conference, without this, we will remain following Syrian victims with unacceptable numbers," Fahmi said at a press conference. He stressed Egypt's condemnation of using the chemical weapons by any side. Fahmi added that Egypt won't encourage "jihad" in Syria.
