Egypt Islamists want parliament majority to form govt

The Muslim Brotherhood, expected to be the biggest party after Egypt's first post-revolution polls, said Sunday that the majority in parliament should be tasked with forming a government. "The future government is supposed to represent the people," spokesman Mahmud Ghozlan told AFP ahead of the start of voting on Monday. The ruling military council "must task the party which gains the biggest number of seats to form the next government," he said.
