
In his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, has issued Decree No. 5 of 2017, on the formation of the board of directors of the Dubai Islamic Economy Development Centre (DIEDC).
The new board serves under the supervision of Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
UAE Minister of Economy, Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, chairs the new board and Sami Ahmad Dhaen Al Qamzi is the vice chairman.
The board members also include Hussain Nasser Lootah, Dr. Hamad Al Sheikh Ahmed Al Shaibani, Majed Saif Al Ghurair, Hussain Ahmed Dhaen Al Qemzi, Helal Saeed Al Marri and Essa Abdulfattah Kazim.
The board serves for a renewable term of three years.
This decree is effective from the date of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
