Dubai Municipality takes "Is Your Home Safe" campaign

The Public Health and Safety Department of Dubai Municipality has taken its awareness campaign titled "Is Your Home Safe" to shopping malls and commercial centres.

The campaign is currently being carried out in the "City Walk 2" area during the period from 3rd to 7th January. The activities will also be organised in different commercial areas and centres such as the Arabian Centre, Kite Beach and IMG World.

"The provision of health and safety is an objective that covers everyone in the community, and each one is responsible for that. The head of family should provide a safe environment at home away from dangers. Health and safety are the most important life rules, if not the basic focus, to provide a safe and stable environment for individuals and society," said Redha Salman, Director of Public Health and Safety Department at Dubai Municipality.

Later, the campaign will target schools with the aim of increasing the level of community awareness about home safety and potential hazards at homes and ways to prevent them, he said.
