Cassation court upholds prison sentences to 15 defendants over Suez violence

The Court of Cassation sentenced 15 defendants to three years of rigorous imprisonment over accusations of committing violent acts and riots in the vicinity of Masjid Hamza in Suez.
Earlier, the public prosecution has sentenced 27 defendants to Suez misdemeanor court over staging protests and threatening public security and peace without getting a demonstration permit.
