Mosul - Anadolu

Sixteen people died and 55 were injured as a bomb laden car exploded in Iraq's Mosul province on Thursday. The car bomb was detonated in a Shabak dominated neighborhood in Muwaffakiyyah village of Mosul, sources said. In a statement released, Mosul Governor Asil Nujaifi held security officials responsible for the violent attack, accusing them of being ignorant. Nujafi also called for the deposal of the irresponsible officials. Besides, Shabaks Mosul Representative Qusai as Shabaki told AA that the attack didn't comply with Islamic values. Speaking the Shabaki dialect as well as the Kurdish and Arabic languages, Shabak people with their population over 300 thousand, live in Mosul city and the surrounding villages such as Ali Rash, Khazna, Yangidja, and Tallara in the north of Iraq.
