
Four people were injured Saturday when a car bomb exploded outside a military intelligence building in the Egyptian city of Ismailiya, northeast of Cairo The Egyptian television said four soldiers were injured in the blast, which destroyed part of the building's wall and set fire to several cars. It said that the incident is being investigated. For his part, Army Spokesman Colonel Ahmad Mohammad Ali said that this attack is continuation of the series of terrorist operations carried out by the coward and sedition groups against the Egyptian people and state military installations. Ismailiya and nearby areas have seen regular attacks on the police and military personnel by militants. The military has been carrying out a wide-ranging operation against militants in the Sinai Peninsula. Police and army troops have cordoned the area for security checking
