Bin Rashid receives FNC Speaker

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received Federal National Council Speaker Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr and FNC members who came to congratulate Sheikh Mohammed on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. They wished Sheikh Mohammed and UAE leadership good health and progress, prosperity and stability to the people of the UAE. The meeting, which took place at Za'abeel Palace today, was held in the presence of Dubai Crown Prince H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Dubai Deputy Ruler H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Discussing with his guests a number of national issues, Sheikh Mohammed hailed the laws issued by the UAE wise leadership that aim to provide a state - of - the art services and decent living standards to the UAE citizens. He also noted the keenness and attention given by the FNC to sectors of education, healthcare, housing and employment opportunities. Sheikh Mohammed emphasized that the UAE has completed infrastructure projects which are the main and solid base for completing the rest of projects and developmental plans, especially in the fields of economy, tourism, real estate in addition to educational, healthcare, sport and cultural as well as other institutions. Sheikh Mohammed called on FNC Speaker and members to continue searching and discussing national matters and conveying the people's voice to the higher political authorities so as to preserve the strong and united fabrics of our society. FNC Speaker thanked, on his behalf and the behalf of the members of the council, the UAE generous leadership for their relentless support of the council so that it can perfectly perform its duties and carry out its responsibilities, praising the strong and transparent cooperation of all federal and government bodies with the council. After Al Maghreb prayers, Sheikh Mohammed hosted an Iftar banquet in honour of his guests. Also present at the meeting were Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chief Executive of Emirates Group H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority H.H. Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Director of Dubai Ruler's Court Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shebani, a number of department heads and several other senior officials.
