
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, today received a copy of credentials from the newly-appointed Ambassador of the sisterly State of Qatar, H.E. Shaikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Thani. The Minister affirmed the deep-rooted, solid brotherly ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Qatar, which he said has been consolidated with the recent visit by His Highness Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar. His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa wished the ambassador success in carrying out his new duties and efforts to further bolster cooperation between the two countries. The Qatari Ambassador expressed his honour to represent his country to the Kingdom of Bahrain, adding that he looked forward to further boost the brotherly ties between the two brotherly countries into vaster horizons.
