Bahrain takes part in GCC meeting

Chief of Staff of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Lieutenant General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi led today Bahrain’s delegation to the GCC joint meeting of the Chiefs of Staff and Interior and Foreign Ministries Undersecretaries which convened in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The meeting was also attended by Public Security Chief Major General Taraq Al Hassan and Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Regional and GCC Affair Ambassador Waheed Mubarak Abdullah Sayar.
The meeting spotlighted issues pertaining to fostering the future of the GCC defence policy and strengthening military cooperation according to a comprehensive strategy that serves the GCC security.
The meeting was also attended by Head of the Secretariat General Department at the Foreign Ministry’s GCC Affairs Directorate Chancellor Abdulrahman Hassan Hashim, Joint Operations Director Brigadier Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Coastguard Commander Commodore Ala’a Abdullah Siyadi and senior officers from BDF and the Interior and Foreign Ministries.
