An exercise theme "Bahrain is My Country 2017" will be held at 8:30 am on Wednesday, The National Disaster Management Committee announced on Monday. The scheme follows directives from the Civil Defence Council to carry national exercises and to implement the national disaster management plans concerning airplane accidents,
The exercise will be held in association with concerned authorities of the Interior Ministry, other ministries and emergency service providing organisations. The exercise will take place in Hidd in the Muharraq Governorate and its scenario will be an airplane crash in a residential area.
The committee calls upon the public to cooperate with the concerned authorities to ensure the success of the exercise that aims to examine the readiness and coordination capabilities in dealing with any accident. It is part of national exercises to ensure that general safety rules are being followed during cases that required the cooperation of various organisations.
