
Kingdom of Bahrain has welcomed the comprehensive ceasefire in Syria, hoping that cessation of fighting is a significant step towards political settlement of the crisis.
The Bahrain News Agency, BNA, quoted Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom, expressing hope that all sides would observe the ceasefire to ensure a transition to political settlement.
The ministry has called for exerting more international efforts and cooperation to speed up ending the crisis and reaching a peaceful political solution on the basis of the first Geneva Conference.
