
Bahrain condemned the bombing occurred near a government complex in the center of Lebanese Capital City Beirut, killing former Lebanese Finance Minister Mohammad Shatah and dozens others. Bahraini Foreign Ministry, in a statement today carried by the official news agency 'BNA', said: "the Kingdom of Bahrain condemns the massive bomb blast occurred near a government complex in the center of the Lebanese Capital City Beirut, killing and injuring a number of innocent people, and killing of the former Lebanese Minister of Finance." The statement also stresses that "such criminal acts are contrary to all the humanitarian values and would cause the region to slide into chaos and instability." Bahrain called on "All Lebanese political leaders to be cautious and to exercise utmost restraint so as not to give an opportunity to those who tamper with the security and stability of Lebanon, and to protect Lebanon from the repercussions of this criminal act which aims to start sedition and cause Lebanon to slide into chaos and violence".
