
The 44th Arab Labour Conference opened today in Cairo under the auspices of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.
Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) executive board member Abdulahakim Ibrahim Al-Shammari is taking part in the event.
Egyptian Prime Minister Sharif Ismael attended the opened session, in the presence of delegations representing 21 Arab states.
The agenda features issues focusing on workers’ problems and challenges facing the Arab labour markets, particularly unemployment and job creation.
Held under the theme “Vocational training .. strategic pillar of sustainable development 2030”, the conference will discuss ways of encouraging young people to set up small and micro projects for all age categories. .
The delegations will also discuss government investments, incentives to create jobs, the improvement of education, vocational and technical training systems.
