Azhar imam greets Pope on Christmas

Grand Imam of Al Azhar Dr Ahmed el Tayyeb Wednesday led a delegation of the Islamic religious institution to the Cathedral in Abbasiya to greet Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese on Christmas.
Egypt's Mufti Dr Shawqi Allam also accompanied Tayyeb to the Cathedral.
On Tuesday, Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa visited the Cathedral to greet Tawadros on Christmas.
