
HE Qatar’s Attorney General Dr. Ali bin Fetais Al Marri said Monday that the International Conference on Human Rights Approach to Conflict Situations in the Arab Region was held at an opportune time given the current situation in the Arab World.
Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA), HE the Attorney General noted that recent developments in the region require a strong backing in human rights issues in the region.
He said that the State of Qatar has become accustomed to hosting distinguished international gatherings, commending the National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) on its effort in organizing and hosting the event.
HE the Attorney-General expressed his confidence that the conference will have the desired outcomes that help face today’s challenges.
