Khaled ben Ahmed Al Khalifa
Cairo - Egypt Today

The Arab anti-terror Quartet (ATQ) expressed preparedness for talks with Qatar under the condition of halting support and finance of terrorism and extremism, interference in other countries' domestic affairs and hatred and incitement discourse.
The remarks came in a statement issued Sunday by the foreign ministers of Egypt, Bahrain, the UAE and Saudi Arabia who convened in Manama.
Foreign Ministers Sameh Shoukry of Egypt, Khaled ben Ahmed Al Khalifa of Bahrain, Adel al Jubeir of Saudi Arabia and Sheikh Abdullah ben Zayed al Nahayyan of the UAE underlined the importance of Qatar's approval of the 13-pronged demands list tendered by the four states.
The Bahraini foreign minister said the meeting underscored the unified Arab stand and is meant to realize stability in all Arab states.
The meeting falls within the framework of an agreement reached during the Cairo meeting of the foreign ministers earlier this month to hold continued consultations on ongoing efforts to stop Qatar's support for terrorism and extremism as well as its interference into the internal affairs of regional states.
The four states had cut ties with Qatar in an attempt to prod it into changing its policy.
