Cairo - Arab Today

The Arab Parliament has condemned the daily aggressions against the Iraqi people, and regretted the death of a large number of innocent victims across Iraq. The Parliament, in a press release, condemned what it described as "forced displacement of the Iraqi people." The statement re-affirmed the Parliament's support for the Iraqi people in the face of all forms of extremism by any parties that seek to create tumult and sedition and to ignite bloody conflicts. The pan-Arab parliamentary organisation also urged all Iraqis to strengthen national unity, reject violence and back the country's constitutional institutions to enable them to enforce security and stability and continue the process of national reconciliation, economic development and reconstruction.
