
The Arab Parliament and Arab Human Rights Committee "Charter Committee" signed on Thursday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, stressing the shared visions of both sides. The purpose of this MoU is also to unify and strengthen all spheres joint Arab work within the Arab League.
On behalf of President of the Arab Parliament, Meshal Al-Sulami, Ahmed Raslan first deputy speaker of the Arab Parliament signed the MoU with Dr Hadi Al Yami, head of the Arab Human Rights Committee.
The Arab Parliament stated that both sides are seeking to offer mutual technical support and to work on setting techniques for joint cooperation for mutual benefit, which in turn would strengthen human rights in the Arab region.
