Egypt chaired on Monday a meeting of senior officials at the Arab Social Affairs, Justice and Youth Ministries to discuss implementing resolutions adopted at the 28th Arab Summit in Amman to fight terrorism and achieve social development.
Egypt's Assistant Social Solidarity Minister Nevine el Qabbag presided over the meeting.
In statements, Arab League Assistant Secretary General for Social Affairs Ambassador Badr el Din Alali said the two-day meetings aim at developing an operational plan for countering terrorism within the framework of the "Arab Declaration" on shoring up joint Arab action to stamp out terrorism that was adopted at the Amman-hosted summit, as well as the conference that was held by the Arab Social Affairs Ministers Council in Sharm El Sheikh in February, under the aegis of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The meeting is to discuss a host of issues related to education, youth, media and legislation.
Also, participating in the meeting are the Arab Parliament, the Arab Labor Organization and Naif Arab University for Security Sciences.
