An Arab League affiliated operation room would be created to follow up the voting process on the draft constitution across Egypt, said a statement by the organisation on Thursday. Arab League Assistant Secretary General for Media and Communication Haifaa Abu-Ghazala met Thursday Deputy Foreign Minister for African Affairs Hamdi Louza, who was in charge of the election file. The pan-Arab organization will monitor the constitution referendum in mid January. Abu-Ghazala stated that the General Secretariat of the Arab League was to sign a memorandum of understanding with the Supreme Commission for Elections to outline the task of its 50 poll supervisors.
