He asserted that such acts should bring all Lebanese political factions together to protect their country's unity and stability. The Jordanian government echoed a similar view.Jordanian State Minister for Media Affairs Mohammad Momani said the attacks and the bombing the targeted Beirut's southern suburb last week prove that terrorism is the most dangerous threat to regional and international peace and security.Momani, who is also government spokesman, reiterated Jordan's firm stance in rejection of all forms of terrorism and violence, voicing the Kingdom's solidarity with Lebanon against all threats to its stability.Furthermore, Algerian government "strongly denounced" Saturday the twin terrorist attacks, stressing that its rejection of the use of "violence in all its forms whatever the reasons are." Algeria also expressed its "deep solidarity with the government and the brother people of Lebanon," and urged all Lebanese political forces to be "patient and wise, and to face this heinous crime in a spirit of mutual aid and solidarity." For its part, the Syrian opposition reiterated its condemnation of all attacks targeting innocents and civilians in Lebanon regardless of the reason. In a press statement, the Syrian National Coalition, the umbrella group of the Syrian opposition, urged self-restraint and asked all Lebanese people to take care and to respond to the devastating calls from the Syrian regime and its allies.
