In the onset of the cabinet session held on Wednesday at Baabda Palace, President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, spoke about the conclusion of his visits to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and Qatar, saying that the relation between Lebanon and those countries are back to normal, as the Saudi King and Qatari Emir voiced their support to Lebanon.

President Aoun asked ministers to issue orders to security apparatuses to take the required security measures in Bekaa to stop abduction operations. He hailed the national role of the apparatuses, notably in preventing the terrorist operation that was on the verge of hitting Hamra.

Prime Minister, Saad Hariri, for his part, said, "Our government, which is a confidence restoration one, will not be easy with anything that might disturb local stability. He also called for augmenting the intensity of verdicts against those committing abduction crimes.
