
The cabinet will meet shortly to address the traffic problem in the capital, announced Monday Interior Minister Tayeb Belaïz, on a visit to Algiers province.’’The most urgent area on which we need to focus is the problem of traffic (car), which must be resolved as soon as possible,’’ said Interior Minister at the end of a presentation on the strategic plan for the capital modernization.Belaïz stated that ’’citizens suffer a lot to travel in the capital. We have to give priority to this problem,’’ he has said, adding that “the cabinet will meet on the problems of the capital, notably the traffic.’’Previously, he had listened to the explanations of the large themes of renovation and development of street furniture provided by the strategic plan for the capital’s modernization (2009-2029).
