Algerian RND spokesman to MENA: Egypt sacrificed many times for sake of Arabs

The National Rally for Democracy (RND) Spokesman Shahab Siddiqui urged Arabs to recognize Egypt’s importance, adding that Egypt sacrificed many times for the sake of Arab and Islamic countries.
In exclusive interview with MENA on Sunday, Siddiqui said that Egypt is on the right track. Egypt is a great country that is facing foreign plots aiming to weaken it, he said, adding that Egypt and Algeria are considered the Arab and Islamic worlds' shield at this delicate phase.
Meanwhile, he said that his party had announced a program that is able to attract voters in the upcoming parliamentary election, slated for May 4.
He also hailed Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika who directed to form an independent authority to supervise the election. The authority comprises 50 percent from judiciary and 50 percent from civil society.
